For many years, at record labels’ requests, CD plants ran what was called the “third shift”: the production of large numbers of CDs that were off the books for artists. Not existing on the books, no royalties were ever paid for the sale of these CDs.

These are the same record labels who use the RIAA to sue 66 year old retired school teachers for downloading Snoop Dogg songs even though her Apple computer couldnt run the file sharing software THE RIAA THEMSELVES say she used to pirate the songs. Heck, the RIAA have even sued families that DONT OWN COMPUTERS AT ALL. Shit, man.
